Terms & Conditions

In short

By using this website or registering for Konnichiwa Japan Festival or Konnichiwa Japan Club, you agree to these terms. Please register honestly, respect other visitors and follow the festival rules.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to this website, all registrations and applications made through it, Konnichiwa Japan Club memberships, and payments. They are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi have jurisdiction.

2. Registrations and applications

  • The information you give must be accurate and your own (or, for under-18s, given with a guardian’s consent).
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee a place: artist, exhibitor and Artist Alley applications are subject to selection by Konnichiwa Japan Club.
  • We may refuse or cancel a registration that breaks these terms or the festival rules.

3. Festival access and conduct

  • Visitor registration is free. Access to the festival is subject to the venue’s security checks and capacity.
  • Visitors must follow the festival rules, props policy, code of conduct and the instructions of volunteers, security and venue staff.
  • Harassment, unsafe behaviour or damage to property will lead to removal from the festival.
  • Konnichiwa Japan Club may change the programme, performers or timings without notice.

4. Membership

  • Membership is personal and non-transferable, and is valid for 12 months.
  • Student membership requires a valid student ID.
  • Member benefits may change from year to year.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include or exclude GST as stated. Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Photos, video and content you submit

You keep the rights to anything you upload. By submitting it, you allow Konnichiwa Japan Club to use it to assess your application and, if you agree to the photo and video release, to promote the festival. You confirm that you have the right to share what you upload.

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, design and layout, is © 2017–2026 World Heritage Academy and Konnichiwa Japan Club. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without prior written permission, except to share links and press coverage.

8. Liability

We work hard to keep the festival safe and the website accurate, but we cannot be responsible for the loss of or damage to personal belongings at the festival, or for events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
