Weekend afternoons and the cosplay competition draw the biggest crowds. Arrive before 1:00 pm for shorter queues at the food stalls.
How to reach Konnichiwa Japan Festival
By metro (recommended)
Take the Yellow Line to Malviya Nagar station. Nexus Select Citywalk is about 1.2 km away: a 15–18-minute walk, or a short e-rickshaw or auto ride.
By cab or auto
Set your destination to “Nexus Select Citywalk, Saket District Centre”.
By car
Paid parking is available at the mall. It fills up quickly on weekend afternoons, so we recommend the metro.
From Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad
Most of Delhi NCR is 30–75 minutes away. From Gurugram, the Yellow Line runs directly to Malviya Nagar. From Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, change to the Yellow Line at Rajiv Chowk, Hauz Khas or Central Secretariat.

Registration for Konnichiwa Japan Festival is free and takes about a minute. Register online before you visit, and keep your confirmation handy on your phone.
We never sell festival passes through third-party websites or social media. If anyone asks you to pay to register, please report it to info@konnichiwajapan.in
Some workshops have limited seats. Book them at the Culture Corner desk on the day, or online once bookings open.
Food and drink
J-Food Street serves Japanese and Japanese-inspired food, including ramen, sushi, onigiri, takoyaki, bento, matcha, bubble tea and sweets. Many stalls offer vegetarian dishes; look for the green dot. The mall’s food court and restaurants are also open. Most stalls accept UPI and cards.
Coming in cosplay?
You are welcome to visit in cosplay even if you are not competing. Please follow our props policy: no real or sharp weapons, no metal blades. Security may check props at the entrance. Changing area will be provided.
Families and children
Konnichiwa Japan Festival is family-friendly. Try origami and calligraphy together, watch the kids’ cosplay category and the taiko drums, and taste Japanese snacks. Keep young children close in crowded areas. If you are separated, go to the information desk.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, with lifts and accessible toilets. If you need help on the day, ask any volunteer in a Konnichiwa Japan T-shirt or visit the information desk.

- Bags are checked at the mall entrance.

- Please follow volunteers’ instructions in crowded areas.
